This is your opportunity to join the fast-growing International team on Capital One?s fast-growing consumer app: Capital One Shopping. Within Capital One, the Shopping team is working on a new consumer product that seeks to change the way people buy things online. Our mission is to deliver a best-in-class shopping and savings experience for our millions of customers while driving incremental and sustainable sales for our merchant partners. The International team is responsible for bringing these best-in-class experiences and partnerships to markets outside the US: Canada and Australia today, and many more to come.
The Country Lead will be responsible for the P&L performance, operational efficiency, and overall success of one of Shopping?s international markets. These markets have significant headroom for growth and optimization, making this a great opportunity for a self-starter with a strong ownership mindset to drive impact. The role is highly cross-functional, working with teammates within Shopping and the broader Capital One enterprise. Strong communication and relationship building skills will be essential. The Country Lead should be comfortable autonomously managing work that runs the gamut from highly-detailed (such as product localization or country legal requirements) to analytical (such as growth opportunity estimations or historical diagnostics), to strategic (such as overall growth strategy) ? and able to transition quickly between these. Ownership in prioritizing work based on business value and urgency level, as well as general efficiency and creative problem solving will also be critical for this role.
To be successful in the role, you will need to be a well-rounded ‘business athlete? – a creative, analytical, and technically proficient problem solver who understands both the dynamics of the business and the tech landscape. The ideal candidate is resourceful, motivated, and self-sufficient, with demonstrated success in spearheading cross-functional projects that drive the growth and success of a business.
As a Senior Manager, Business Analysis at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges.
